1. Contest Overview

Enter for a chance to win one (1) personalized Damashiro BoDo 10-Piece Knife Block Set by Cuisine::pro each week during the month of August. One (1) prize will be awarded during each weekly contest period.

2. Contest Period

The contest begins on August 1, 2026, and ends on August 28, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EST. Entries received after the contest closing date will not be eligible.

3. Eligibility

• Open to legal residents of Canada, excluding residents of Quebec, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. 

• No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

4. How to Enter

Participants may enter by: 

1. Completing the online entry form using the link provided through the applicable social media platform (Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok).
   
   
2. Providing their full name, email address, mailing address, and personalization request (name or initials).
   
   
3. Submitting the completed entry form during the Contest Period.
   
   
4. Limit of one (1) entry per person, Facebook account, Instagram handle and TikTok account. Duplicate entries may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Cuisine::pro. Any attempt or suspected attempt to use robotic, automatic, programmed, or otherwise illicit means to enter the contest, or any other methods not authorized by the Official Contest Rules, for example, but not limited to, creating multiple Facebook or email accounts, identities, or registrations, all in Cuisine::pro’s sole discretion, shall be deemed as tampering and may disqualify the entrant from entering, participating and/or winning a prize.

5. Prize

• One (1) winner will receive a personalized Damashiro BoDo 10-Piece Knife Block Set each week

• Approximate Retail Value (ARV):  $1,399 CAD per prize.

• A total of four (4) prizes will be awarded during the Contest Period.

• Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other product.

6. Winner Selection

• One (1) winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during each weekly contest period.

Draw Schedule

• In order to be confirmed as a winner, the selected entrant must have correctly answered a skill-testing question included on the entry ballot.

• Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the applicable Contest Period.

7. Winner Notification

• Winners will be contacted by email within seven (7) business days of the applicable draw.

• Winners must respond within seven (7) days of notification.

• If a selected winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond, or is deemed ineligible, an alternate winner may be selected.

8. Publicity Release

By accepting a prize, winners agree that Cuisine:pro may use their first name, city or province of residence and photographs related to the contest for promotional purposes without additional compensation, where permitted by law.

9. Privacy and Use of Personal Information

Personal information collected in connection with this Contest will be used by Cuisine::pro and its authorized service providers solely for the purposes of administering the Contest, verifying eligibility, contacting selected entrants, awarding and delivering prizes, and fulfilling any applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

By entering the Contest, each entrant consents to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information for these purposes. Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws and Cuisine::pro’s Privacy Policy.

Personal information will not be used for marketing purposes unless the entrant separately and expressly agrees to receive promotional communications. Entrants may withdraw their marketing consent at any time without affecting their eligibility to participate in the Contest.

Personal information will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the Contest and satisfy applicable legal requirements, after which it will be securely deleted or destroyed.

10. General Conditions

• Cuisine::pro reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the contest if technical issues, fraud  or other factors impair the integrity of the contest.

• Cuisine::pro reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or violates these rules. 

• By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Contest Rules and by all decisions made by Cuisine::pro, which are final.

11. Release of Liability

Winners must sign Cuisine::pro’s Declaration of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release form to: (i) confirm compliance with the Contest Rules; (ii) agree to accept the prize as awarded; (iii) release, discharge and hold harmless Cuisine::pro, its departments and agencies, parent, related and affiliated companies, subsidiaries, franchisees, advertising and promotional agencies, counsel, marketing partners, Instagram, Facebook or TikTok and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, shareholders, successors, sponsors, partners, licensees, subsidiaries, agents, artists, advisors, assignees, and all others associated with the administration, development and execution of the Contest (”Released Parties”) from and against any and all manner of action, cause of action, claim or demand, loss or injury, use or misuse of a prize or any travel related thereto, and the use of the Entry by Cuisine::pro, suit, debt, covenant, contract, including legal fees and expenses, whatsoever, including but not limited to, claims based on negligence, breach of contract and fundamental breach, failure of any third-party contractor or supplier used in connection with any aspect of the contest to perform or deliver any goods or services, any act of God or any other event beyond the Released Parties’ control, any dissatisfaction of any kind by a winner with any aspect of the contest or any prize, liability for physical injury, death, or property damage that the entrants, guests, their heirs, successors or assigns have, might have or could have suffered, by reason of or arising out of the entrant’s participation in the contest and/or in connection with the acceptance and/or exercise by the entrant of the Prize as awarded; and (iv) indemnify the Released Parties against any loss, damage or expense, including legal fees that any of the Released Parties may suffer or incur as a result of any non-compliance by an entrant with any of the Official Contest Rules or participation in the contest and/or in connection with the acceptance and/or exercise by an entrant of a prize and the use of the Entry by Cuisine::pro.

12. Social Media Disclaimer

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok. By participating, entrants release Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and their respective parent companies from any liability related to this contest.

13. Void Where Prohibited

This contest is void where prohibited by law.
